A Secret to Success

See the beauty you want to be in the world.

Yesterday, while Irvin and I talked about how we could keep each other accountable for our goals - I remembered how I found my fitness success in 2013

At the end of 2012 I was sick and tired of being sick and tired, I was done! I got the biggest bang for my buck by signing up for the unlimited monthly plan at Inspired Fitness Studio, this was helping me to save, and the studio was only a short walk away.
At the time, I wasn't worried at all about how I looked. I wasn't fat but I wasn't happy.
I decided to go to every class that I could, basically anytime that I wasn't working, just because it felt so good to move!!!
This added up to about 8 hours a week of movement with classes including: Barre, Zumba, Sculpt, Piyo, Yoga.  I also went because I was surrounded by gorgeous women who gave me inspiration and beauty to truly appreciate. I found myself saying over and over again. 'Wow! -what a great smile! -what beautiful hair! - such a cute outfit! -great job in class!"

This is the secret
.
We can use our appreciation of the qualities that we see in others to develop or ignite these qualities within ourselves

What we see in others is a reflection of what we see in ourselves. This works as a tool because we can focus, we can decide, we can choose to appreciate the best of others for ourselves. So do yourself a favor and give a compliment today.

What a Dream

I woke up a few times last night to the thought~ 'Wow! Life is so much better than a dream!'

In dreams, we manifest instantly if we are aware of it or not. While in life, we manifest slowly, we have opportunities to feel lots of different emotions and manifesting slowly giving us a chance to choose what it is we want exactly- I believe. It feels that way anyway.

For some time now, more than a year, I've been in a practice of paying attention to how I react to a situation emotionally.
If I feel negative, drained, depressed, or limited in anyway I ask myself:
How do you want to feel?
---Usually I want to feel happy. So smile- it's bound to attract.
What reasons do I have to smile?
---I'm safe, I have my home. I'm loved, I have my family. I'm happy, I woke up today!
(This is a my general go-to when I'm feeling a little bit stuck and helps to make a great shift in my perspective, like a new set of lenses)
What can I focus on right now?

---I'm probably in the car driving away from whatever circumstance that irked me so what is easiest is the beauty of whatever landscape, nature or whoever is picking their nose in the next car over. Simple little things. Or I'll recall a fond memory, some moment when Irvin- my hubband, made me laugh. I don't know why he had cake on his face but I remember laughing so much almost the whole evening at Nana Teresa's b-day dinner party.

I love that goof!

Through this practice I've seen lots of wonderful shifts in my relationships, career, health and finances.
